This collection was submitted as my Final Major Project for University. My influences for design started with strong landscapes and glaciers. I wanted the feel of the collection to be quite cold with sheer and lightweight fabrics, it was designed with SS15 in mind. A trip to paris was organised to choose fabrics, I found a unusual green chiffon to use and well as a blue silk cotton. I created my own printed chiffon to combine with these fabrics. The print was influenced by movement in the water. The outcome of the project was to design and make a six outfit collection, which was to be exhibited at The BIC for South Coast Fashion Week and to have a printed portfolio.
Working with Photographer Emma Dudgeon the collection was photographed in two locations, Iceland and a country house near Sway. Emma used the photography for her own Major Project.
