Let's get Scrapbooking!

It's been a while since I wrote about anything creative, as I've been busy working on projects for Hobbycraft and Craft Cotton Co. But, after my trip to Rome, where I saved those special tickets, I decided I NEEDED to add some of my holiday memories to a scrapbook. At work we've had an emphasis on Papercraft, I've never really been an avid card maker so it never really appealed to me, and then I discovered beautiful paper pads and Thickers (yes THICKERS)!

Obsessed with the cute designs I picked up at a work sample sale, I headed into store to pick up some scrapbooking essentials. Which I consider to be a Tropical Print Scrapbook, Double Sided Tape, and Washi Tape.

Creating the pages was really fun, layering pretty papers with maps I'd saved and tickets, along with adding stickers and embellishments. I added different themes for the different holidays, and filled it with smiling faces and pretty places.

I felt a real benefit in putting the memories in one place, as much as I love digital, there is something very special about printing the pictures and sticking them down. I can't wait for my next trip away so I can add some more memories.
