Shining Star Embroidery Sweatshirt

To brighten up a boring January weekend I decided to add a sparkling embroidery design to a simple grey jumper. I have been very into the new Etoile threads from DMC, they have a brilliant sparkle running through each strand and are a wonder to work with. From their free patterns online I picked this one to customise my jumper with.
Here is a little step by step as to how I transferred the printed design onto my jumper.
Print out the design from DMC and transfer onto the Magic Paper. Gather the threads needed along with your embroidery scissors.
Cut out an stick the transferred design onto your jumper or chose surface.
Following the printed guide that comes with the design, stitch onto the jumper.
Once you've finished the design, wash away the Magic Paper and dry.
The Etoile threads add a really beautiful glimmering effect to your stitches, making them the perfect choice when stitching stars!
