This year I decided the celebrate the change of season with a little crafting, inspired by my favourite seasonal drink. I created both of these designs using Cricut's design space, I have the subscription which allows you to select from hundreds of images and projects.
For the tote bag you will need:
Iron-On Vinyl in the following colours:
For the garland your will need:
Orange Embroidery Thread
Tools:
Cricut Maker or Explore Air 2 Digital Cutting Machine
Cricut Standard Grip Cutting Mat
Cricut Weeding Tool
Cricut EasyPress 2

How to Make a Pumpkin Spice Tote Bag
Step 1:
Open up Design Space and start a new project. Click on Image and search for the image set 'Pumpkin Spice and Everything Nice', find the pumpkin cup and insert into the project.
Step 2:
Click on Text and search for the font 'Bebette', type Pumpkin Spice Season separately. Change the cut colour to orange. Select the text and click on Advanced (under Actions) and Ungroup to Letters. Move each letter so that they are joined up, select and Weld. Repeat for all three words. Select all three, Align Center and Distribute Vertically then Attach.
Step 3:
Resize and move the pumpkin cup to fit next to 'Season'. Go back to the image set, find and insert the leaves. I went for a mixture of shapes and sizes that I could also use for the garland. Duplicate and resize the leaves, pick and change the colours. Select the whole design and resize to fit the tote bag.
Step 4:
Click Make It, this will take you to your mat screen. Make sure you mirror all of your mats, you can move around the pieces to fit onto the Iron-On vinyl. Follow the on-screen instructions to cut your vinyl pieces.
Step 5:
Weed the negatives from your vinyls. Turn on your EasyPress 2 and set the temperature to 155oC, pre-heat the tote bag for 5 seconds and place your non-glitter vinyls in place. Press the vinyl for 30 seconds, flip and press for 15 seconds. Turn the temperature up to 165oC, press each glitter piece for 30 seconds, flip and press for 15 seconds. Carefully peel the backing when cool.

How to Make a Pumpkin and Leaf Garland
Step 1:
Using the same project screen as the tote bag, duplicate the leaf shapes you want to use. Open up the image set again and insert a pumpkin.
Step 2:
Click on Shapes and insert a circle, resize and place at the top of a leaf. Select both the circle and leaf and click slice. Delete one circle and repeat for the pumpkin and other leaves.
Step 3:
Resize so that the pumpkin height is 6.58cm. Duplicate the shapes and create the pattern they will be in.

Step 4:
Click Make It, you will need to change the material size to A4, for my garland I did 4 copies of the project. Follow the on-screen instructions to cut your project, I selected Light Cardstock for the Colour Spectrum papers and this cut well.
Step 5:
Once all of your pieces have been cut, remove from the mat carefully. Cut two pieces of embroidery thread, one approx 150cm and one 160cm. One by one thread your shapes onto the thread, tying a small not around each one. Tie the two separate garlands together at both ends and display.
